August Luncheon

Speaker - Janet Frank, PhD.

Janet is part of the #1 corporate sales training and coaching division of the 160-year-old Southwestern Company.

Janet lives in Gainesville and has been happily married to her husband Troy for 14 years.  She has her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina. After 10 years in private clinical practice, she changed careers to pursue a lifelong curiosity about business and marketing. She spent the next decade in the top 5% in advertising sales at a business-to-business media publisher. She joined Southwestern Consulting early this year.  To her, this is the perfect blend of two careers-- sales and helping people reach their maximum potential.

Janet is going to share with us some ideas that have worked for The Southwestern Company for over 160 years. She will focus on new and unique take on our perceptions of time and time management, based largely on the book Procrastinate on Purpose, by Rory Vaden, who is a co-founder of Southwestern Consulting. She’ll reframe the concept of time management as an emotional one, and introduce the Focus Funnel  from Rory’s book as a tool to help us “multiply” our time.

Meeting Registration and Cancellation Policy: To be eligible for a meeting refund, you must cancel your reservation by 11:59pm on the Sunday the week of the meeting.  The registration cancellation must be submitted online or emailed to the Registrar by the deadline.
